Amy Suttle joined TigerRisk in 2008 and is based in their Minneapolis office. As a Broker Team Leader and Reinsurance and Risk Capital Advisor, she works closely with a diverse group of TigerRisk clients ranging from regional insurance companies to large global writers. Amy is focused on providing innovative solutions using an integrated approach to capital with utilization of both traditional and third-party capital providers to optimize reinsurance structure and pricing.
Amy is a Property, Casualty, and Workers’ Compensation specialist responsible for placing and supporting complex reinsurance programs. She assisted with the creation and expansion in several Wholesale/E&S Distribution Programs utilizing third-party capital and developed proprietary models for the evaluation of new programs and the impact of collateral and capital allocation. Most recently, Amy has played a critical role in the placement of innovative new reinsurance products including: Enterprise Risk reinsurance for a Fortune 100 customer, Collateralized Quota Share for global National, Casualty Coverage for “Headline Losses”, and Enterprise Risk Coverage for a large global insurance company that addressed plan volatility for the company’s property and casualty portfolios.
Amy began her reinsurance career at E.W. Blanch Co. (now Aon Benfield) in 1996 and quickly established herself as a leader in the corporate and reinsurance accounting departments. Prior to joining TigerRisk Partners and transitioning to the broker team, Amy was Vice President at BMS Intermediaries and Cooper Gay Intermediaries where she managed the Fiduciary Accounting and Claims Department for the Minneapolis office.
Amy also holds various reinsurance intermediary and insurance producer licenses throughout the United States and Canada.
Michael Bredahl joined TigerRisk in 2017 as a member of the property broking team, focusing on Florida and southeast regional accounts. Prior to joining TigerRisk, Michael interned at AXA Advisors where he worked as a financial advisor for teachers, as well as TransRe where he supported the surety underwriting team.
Michael graduated from Lafayette College where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Certificate in Financial Policy and Analysis, as well as a minor in Government and Law.
Russ Dunne began his reinsurance career with JB Collins in 2003, moving to Guy Carpenter when JB Collins was purchased in 2009. He joined TigerRisk’s Accounting and Claims Department in 2012 and transitioned to broking in 2013.
At TigerRisk, Russ is focused primarily on property accounts, both Florida-specific and national. He has played a key role in every step of the process, from identifying and building bespoke coverages, to negotiating terms and finalizing all contract and trust documentation, to calculating and amending multi-year adjustments.
Russ earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from St. Cloud State University.
Hannah Erie began her career in reinsurance in 2015 at TigerRisk Partners as a member of the U.S. Treaty Broker team. She currently is responsible for supporting and placing U.S. property and casualty reinsurance programs for companies ranging from large national writers to regional insurance companies. Along with brokering property and casualty placement, Hannah’s responsibilities include: developing client submissions, marketing materials, and pricing/structuring options. Hannah is also involved in a variety of internal activities, including future client initiatives, training, social media, and recruiting.
Prior to joining TigerRisk, Hannah received a BA in Economics with a concentration in Management Studies from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. She holds her ARe designation and is currently working on her CPCU designation.
Kate Bailey joined TigerRisk UK in 2018 as a member of the Analytics team. Prior to joining TigerRisk, Kate worked as Portfolio Manager & Corporate Centre Business Partner at MS Amlin.
Kate graduated from the University of Leicester in 2003 with a BA Hons in Economics & Law. She also holds the CCRA, ACII and NHFI (Natural Hazards for Insurers) PG Cert.

Daphne Roskams joined TigerRisk (UK) in August 2018 as an intern supporting the European and Analytics team. After her internship, Daphne became a full-time member of the London Tiger team where she now works as a part of the Analytics team and supports the Broking team.
Daphne graduated from the Catholic University of Leuven with three Master Degrees in Communication Sciences (Hons), Management, and Business Economics. In addition, she is currently studying to receive the CII Certificate.
Daphne was born and raised in Belgium and speaks 3 languages.
Katy Lushington joined TigerRisk UK in March 2019 and provides support to a global list of TigerEye clients. Prior to joining TigerRisk, Katy contracted with Chaucer as a catastrophe modeler, predominantly working on the RMS(one) project but also assisting with treaty pricing.
Katy graduated with a Master’s degree in Environmental Earth Sciences from the University of East Anglia in 2017, where she specialised in Volcanic processes.

Fumie has been Tony’s Assistant for the past nineteen years. Fumie started working with Tony at Merrill Lynch in 1996. After three years, she moved to Banc of America, Financial Institution Group where she remained for almost ten years. Her most recent experience has been with Willis since 2009.
Fumie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Nichols College in Dudley, MA.
Fumie is fluent in speaking Korean and Japanese, and is proficient in reading and writing Japanese.
Jarad Madea joined TigerRisk Partners and TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory in May 2015 from Willis Capital Markets & Advisory where he was a Senior Vice President specializing in M&A advisory and capital raising for P&C insurance clients. Prior to joining Willis during the 2009 formation of Willis Capital Markets & Advisory, Jarad began his career at Banc of America Securities where he was an Associate in the Financial Institutions Group. With over 15 years as an investment banker focused on the insurance industry, he has been involved in more than 50 M&A and capital raising transactions.
Selected recent transaction experience includes acting as a financial advisor to ABRY Partners in its $1.3 billion sale of York Risk Management Services to Onex, acting as exclusive financial advisor to ACE Group in its $293 million acquisition of Fianzas Monterrey, acting as a Co-Manager and private placement agent on Heritage Insurance’s $86 million IPO and private placement to Nephila and acting as private placement agent to PURE in its $34 million surplus note issuance.

Perry Green joined TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory in April, 2019. Prior to TigerRisk, he was at AON where he was Director – Global Business Development. There he led domestic, European, Australian, and Asian alternative institutional capital raising mandates. He was also responsible for the marketing and strategy development for all fund mandates, providing alternative capital to Aon’s largest reinsurance clients. Perry leveraged institutional relationships to facilitate investment into the firm’s private placements.
In 2008, Perry co-founded CIH Capital Partners, a boutique investment bank focused on rail and transport. He was responsible for having led the firm’s business development and marketing efforts, as well as directing all transaction origination and capital placement for the firm’s buy side clients.
Prior to that, Perry was Vice President – Business Development for Commonwealth Associates, where he managed the internal placement team in charge of marketing the firm’s Private Equity and Debt fund offerings.
Perry earned an MBA from Rollins College’s Crummer Graduate School of Business and a BS in Organizational Communication from the University of Central Florida. He maintains the FINRA Series 7, 66 & 79 Licensures.
Global Head of ILS Distribution & Trading
Patrick Gonnelli has a wealth of experience in the financial and reinsurance industries. Pat began his reinsurance career with Towers Perrin as a consultant responsible for the production, trading and development of all ILW business, as well as marketing and placing traditional reinsurance programs. Prior to entering the reinsurance arena, Pat was heavily involved in the investment world. He began his career in Boston, holding multiple positions within John Hancock organization and eventually ING in New York, where he traded equities on all Latin America Exchanges and was responsible for the trading activity of all London clients.
Prior to joining TigerRisk Partners in 2010, Pat served as an Executive Vice President for Tradition Re in Bermuda where he was responsible for the production and development of the Worldwide Property ILW and Property Retrocessional business. Before joining Tradition Re, Pat handled revenue production and development for Carvill’s ILW and Property Retro books and was responsible for increasing awareness, revenue production, and trading of the Carvill Hurricane Index (CHI) on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Prior to Carvill, he worked for Willis Re in New York where he was responsible for developing their ILW business and was responsible for maintaining and growing their market relationships with new and established hedge funds and investment banks.
Pat is a graduate of the Boston University School of Management and currently holds the FINRA Series 7, 24 and 3.
Peter began his career with TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory in October of 2017. Before joining Tiger, Peter previously interned with Piper Jaffray in Philadelphia and Guy Carpenter in New York.
Peter is a graduate of Temple University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science and Risk Management and Insurance.
Sophia began her reinsurance career with TigerRisk in July of 2015 as a Junior Broker in their New York office. She was part of the current client team working on both property and casualty accounts. She moved to the Capital Markets & Advisory team into an analyst position in November of 2016. Her roles in the group include providing analytical support on mergers and acquisitions, helping to develop financial models, assisting in public and private capital and insurance-linked security offerings, and contributing to the creation of information memorandums, management presentations, and marketing materials.
Sophia completed her Bachelor in Business Administration in Accounting, with a minor in Actuarial Science, from the University of Notre Dame. She currently holds the Associate in Reinsurance professional designation as well as her Series 79 securities license.
David Unsworth joined TigerRisk Partners in 2019 and is a seasoned reinsurance executive skilled in providing reinsurance solutions for the complex and constantly evolving market. He brings market knowledge, analytics, and expertise across a broad array of classes. David resides in Tampa, Florida.
David began his career in London in 1995 with Minet Ltd. and then RK Carvill & Co. In 2002, David moved with Carvill America to Atlanta, Georgia, before joining Guy Carpenter in 2006 as a Senior Vice President. David subsequently moved to Tampa, Florida, where he joined JLT Re in 2014.
David is originally from London and graduated from Kingston University in 1994.

Jimmy Hendrickx joined TigerRisk in August 2018 and acts as a Senior Analyst in the EMEA team.
He started his career at Dexia Insurance in 2000 where he spend 10 years in various positions in the Life and Pension area in Belgium, Luxemburg and Turkey. In 2010, Jimmy moved to Ageas where he held the CRO position for the Italian P&C operations. After that, Jimmy played a key role in setting up Ageas’ internal reinsurance vehicle. Jimmy joined the Aon Resolutions department in London in 2015 where he focused on non-traditional capital driven reinsurance solutions for EMEA clients, both on the Life (Longevity Swaps, Mass Lapse, VIF) and P&C-side (LPT, ADC, Structured DS).
Jimmy has an excellent knowledge of Solvency II and speaks 5 languages.
Jimmy obtained a Master Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master Degree in Actuarial Science from the Catholic University in Leuven/Belgium and is a member of the Belgian Association of Actuaries.

Stéphane Nadjar joined TigerRisk in October 2018 and is responsible for implementing TigerRisk’s strategy within the EMEA team in Southern Europe and for producing new business. He is a results-driven (re)insurance leader with more than 25 years of experience and has demonstrated success in client relationships, executive management and business development in brokerage and underwriting. He has established a broad network worldwide. Stephane’s expertise is P&C, Aviation, Space, and Credit & Bonds business.
Stéphane began his career as an independent reinsurance broker focused on Asian and Lloyd’s business and as the representative of TRYGG HANSA Group in France for their reinsurance activities. He then became a reinsurance underwriter at ReAc for Southern Europe. Up until 2013 he was the commercial director and a member of the management board at Willis Re in Paris. He then became the country manager in France for Miller Insurance services.

Steve Bensinger joined TigerRisk Partners in 2015 as a Senior Advisor and is based in New York City. Steve has over 40 years of professional and executive experience within the insurance industry, including roles as board member, chairman, president, chief executive officer, chief financial officer, treasurer, comptroller, interim legal officer and human resources officer, and partner with a big four accounting and consulting firm. Steven has been responsible for a wide range of high-level assignments involving expertise in strategic planning, crisis management, operational management, turnarounds, financial management and reporting, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, spin-offs, restructurings, joint ventures, bank and investment community relations, securitizations, treasury, rating agency relations, and corporate governance.
He has held management and executive positions with national and international insurance and reinsurance companies in which he was called upon to achieve organic growth, perform turnarounds, establish new operating subsidiaries, execute mergers and acquisitions, and attain recapitalization. Steve has demonstrated innovative leadership in helping companies achieve strategic goals and enhance enterprise value.
Steve has held management and executive positions with FTI Consulting, Inc., The Hanover Insurance Group, American International Group, Combined Specialty Group (an Aon Corporation subsidiary), Trenwick Group, Chartwell Re Corporation, Skandia America Corporation, and Coopers & Lybrand. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Finance Committee of the International Insurance Society, a member of the Board of Directors and Strategic Planning Committee of Ronald McDonald House of New York, past member of the Board of Overseers, Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University, and past President and Board member, Stern School of Business Alumni Association. Steve also serves as an independent director on the boards of The Doctors Company and Kinsale Capital Group.

Erlend Munthe-Kaas began his career with TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory in April of 2017. Prior to joining TigerRisk, Erlend held the position of equity research associate at Bloomberg Intelligence, where he published research on the European insurance market, with a particular focus on Scandinavia.
Erlend is a graduate of Cass Business School in London, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Banking & International Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies.

Leo Beckham is Managing Director of TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory (UK). He joined TigerRisk Partners (UK) in November of 2016 from Willis where he was a Vice President in its investment banking business, advising on the sale of Chaucer’s UK motor business to Markerstudy and the sale of Brit to Fairfax.
After qualifying as a chartered accountant with Deloitte, Leo moved joined Benfield Advisory (now Aon Securities) where he advised on a number of M&A transactions, including the sale of ICAT Managers on behalf of Vulcan Capital. He subsequently moved to Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, an investment bank focused on the financial services sector, where notable transactions included the acquisition of Omega Insurance Holdings by Canopius and the sale of Alico UK to Swiss Re.
Leo is a chartered accountant (ICAEW) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
Non-Executive Chairman, TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory (UK) Ltd
Michael Wade has enjoyed a long career within the London Market insurance industry culminating in his appointment in 2013 as the Crown Representative for Insurance at the UK Government Cabinet Office for a 2 year term to advise on insurance and reinsurance risks – this has included Pool Re, the formation of Flood Re and other projects. He also advised the former & current Chancellor of the Exchequer on the Insurance-Linked Securities markets. In 2015 he was appointed a Senior Advisor to the Cabinet Office. He was appointed (2016) a Senior Advisor to Swiss Re and (2017) a non-executive Director of Neon Underwriting – a Lloyd’s managing agency owned by American Financial Group. In September 2017 Michael Wade appointed Non-executive Chairman of TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory (UK) Ltd.
He formed Holman Wade Ltd in 1980 specialising in London Market reinsurance of which he was CEO until 1993. During 1984 Holman Wade merged into H. Clarkson & Co shipbrokers and, once combined, was floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1986 as Horace Clarkson plc where he also remained as a Director until 1993. Following the Lloyd’s crisis, Michael formed Corporate Lloyd’s Membership in partnership with Sedgwick Group plc. They launched CLM Insurance Fund plc which he ran until 1999 then merging with SVB at Lloyd’s ( now Novae Group plc ).
In 2000 Michael formed Rostrum Group – a specialist investment manager focussed upon Lloyd’s listed vehicles on behalf of a series of major UK pension funds; from 2006 he was a partner in Optex Group to develop the Industry Loss Warranty (ILW) market and, in 2011 merged Optex into Besso Insurance Group in which he had acquired the Wells Fargo shareholding. Michael sold these interests in November 2012 and retired from executive responsibilities.
Michael was elected to the Council of Lloyd’s in 1988 and served until 1992; during which time he was also a member of the key Rowland Lloyd’s Taskforce, working closely with McKinsey & Co to analyse and recommend a route forward for the troubled Lloyd’s insurance market. He founded the Lloyd’s Community Programme in 1989. He was a Member of Lloyd’s from 1980 to 2014.
Michael’s interests include opera, orchestral music, architecture and politics. He supports Moorfields Eye Charity Hospital.
Head of EMEA, Partner
Before joining TigerRisk, Marc was general manager of MBeckers BVBA, advising insurers and financial players on capital optimization solutions (Solvency II, Basel III, IFRS 17), M&A projects and risk transfer optimization.
Until July 2017, Marc led Aon Benfield’s ReSolutions team for EMEA, and before that Marc was leading Aon Benfield Analytics EMEA since he joined Aon in February 2007. Marc was also an MD at Aon Securities focusing on EMEA M&A and capital markets opportunities. Marc was very involved in Aon Benfield’s Solvency II strategy and in structuring capital optimization solutions for clients in EMEA.
While at Aon, Marc led the teams that advised VidaCaixa on their €600m VIF Monetisation with Berkshire Hathaway, Ethias on the sale of Bel Re, KBC on the sale of their life settlements portfolio and Talanx and Meiji Yasuda on the $1bn acquisition of Warta, the second largest Polish insurer.
Marc was previously CFO of Dexia Life & Pensions in Luxembourg and he was also the VP Pensions for Nationwide Financial in Luxembourg, leading their European expansion in pensions products.
During his career, Marc advised several international organizations on economic capital and value based management. At the start of his career, Marc worked 5 years as an actuary for ING in Belgium in life and disability insurance.
Marc has 28 years of insurance and reinsurance capital markets experience. Marc is a Belgian life actuary by training, a Maths teacher and he has an MBA from Cornell University.
Matthew joined TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory in March of 2018. Prior to joining TigerRisk, he was a Fixed Income Consultant at FactSet Research Systems in New York.
Matthew is a graduate of the University at Buffalo where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics concentrated in Actuarial Science, magna cum laude, with minors in Statistics and Economics. He has passed Exam P, FM and MFE of the Society of Actuaries Program and Level I of the CFA Program.
Tim Fox joined TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory in June of 2016. Prior to joining TigerRisk, Tim was a summer analyst at Deutsche Bank in the Institutional Global Client Group working on financial models and market reports used to advise institutional clients. Before Deutsche Bank, Tim held an internship at AQR Capital Management in Greenwich, CT.
Tim is in his second year as an analyst where he supports a variety of M&A, capital raising, ILS transactions, and has a series 79 license.
Tim earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics from Boston College.
John Stamatis joined the TigerRisk Partners and TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory (TCMA) in June of 2015. During his time at TigerRisk, he has contributed to the execution of transactions across the range of products and services offered by TCMA, including M&A advisory, capital raising, and ILS structuring and origination.
Prior to joining TigerRisk, he held the position of Senior Underwriter at Zurich, specializing in financial lines products for North American clients. During this time, he also supported and led several strategic initiatives which impacted Zurich’s pricing models, claim analysis methodology, and approach to portfolio management. Earlier in his career at Zurich, he participated in the launch and development of the company’s Integrated Products platform for small commercial clients.
John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University and has passed Level II of the CFA Program.
Michael Forman joined TigerRisk Partners and TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory in April 2017 from AIG where he was a Director in the Commercial Insurance Strategy group. At AIG, he was responsible for executing strategic initiatives for the global commercial insurance business including mergers & acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures and new business partnerships. Prior to joining AIG, Michael was an Associate at Willis Capital Markets & Advisory specializing in M&A advisory and capital raising for P&C insurance clients. Before joining the team at Willis Capital Markets & Advisory, Michael was an underwriter at Travelers Insurance specializing in executive and professional liability insurance for the financial services industry.
With over 10 years of experience as an advisor and investment professional within the insurance industry, he has been involved in numerous M&A and capital raising transactions. Michael has his 79 and 63 licenses.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Finance, cum laude, from Bentley University and his Masters of Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Babson College.
Global Head of ILS and Capital Solutions
Philipp Kusche joined TigerRisk Partners in April 2016 as Partner and Global Head of Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) and Capital Solutions.
Philipp comes from Swiss Re Capital Markets in New York where he most recently was the Head of their ILS Structuring and Origination team covering Insurance Companies, Hedge Funds, Governmental Entities, and Corporate Clients in the U.S., Latin America, and Asia. He joined Swiss Re Capital Markets in New York in 2006 and was responsible for and instrumental in creating and executing billions of dollars worth of CAT bonds, sidecars, contingent capital structures, and other alternative capital products for clients globally, while maintaining a strong focus on product development. As part of such activities, he developed relationships with many key ILS and other institutional investors and maintained a close dialogue with other stakeholders in the ILS space. In addition to such sell-side activities, he structured, priced, and executed a large number of CAT derivatives, mainly on a parametric basis, providing protection to a variety of clients. Philipp joined Swiss Re in 2002, and was initially based at its headquarters in Zurich as a management trainee. Working mainly in the Chief Underwriting Office, he quickly advanced into the global Energy Practice as a property underwriter in London and Zurich.
He graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from the Bauhaus University in Germany and a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute in Zurich (ETH). His Masters Thesis, supported by Credit Suisse, was on public-private partnerships and their potential in Switzerland.
Chief Compliance Officer
Randy comes from Willis Towers Watson Securities, where he was Managing Director, Chief Administrative Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer for nine years. While he was at Willis he designed and implemented all operations and infrastructure in the formation of Willis Towers Watson Securities and subsequently was responsible for all ongoing operations as well as all compliance and regulatory requirements. Randy began his career at Banc of America Securities as a Business Analyst providing operational and analytical support to the heads of the Real Estate, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Financial Institutions Groups. As a Business Manager, while still supporting the Financial Institutions Group, he reported to the COO of Investment Banking and supported that team on several important initiatives such as serving on the management transition and integration teams for three $20+ billion mergers and acting as Subject Matter Expert advisor to the IT organization on all major systems projects and initiatives involving investment banking operations.
Randy has 20 years of investment banking and corporate operations and compliance experience and holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 79 and 99 securities licenses.
Randy attended Montreat College where he studied Business Administration.
Milan Radonich is a senior financial executive with over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry and is currently the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of F&S Ventures LLC and its subsidiaries, including TigerRisk Partners LLC.
Prior to joining F&S, Milan was the CFO of Praetorian Financial Group, a $2B premium property/casualty insurance company subsidiary of Hannover Re, and played a key role in its sale to QBE. Prior to joining Praetorian, Milan was the CFO of Benfield Group’s U.S. operations and was responsible for transitioning and restructuring its finance function from Dallas, Texas to Westport, Connecticut and was a key participant in the Benfield Group’s successful initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange. Prior to Benfield, Milan was the CFO of Allied North America, one of the country’s largest independently-owned specialty insurance brokerage firms and was responsible for redesigning and strengthening its financial operations, as well as other portions of its business, which led to overall improved financial performance and results.
Milan spent much of his career at Ernst & Young LLP as a senior partner, advising public and private insurance clients on merger and acquisition and other business strategies, including successful initial public offerings and other capital-raising initiatives, aggregating over $1B. He also assisted his clients in identifying hidden business risks and control deficiencies and in developing risk aversion strategies and improved financial controls leading to more accurate accounting and greater transparency. Milan also assisted insurance regulators with several of their largest insurance company rehabilitation and liquidation proceedings and with the education of their insurance financial examiners.
Milan received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from Northern Illinois University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, a Fellow in the Life Management Institute, and Chairman of the Society of Insurance Financial Management’s Reinsurance committee and a member of its Executive Committee. Milan is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State CPA Society.
Head of Human Capital
Tom Carter is the Global Head of Human Capital. He and his team are responsible for all human resource-related activities at TigerRisk Partners: Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Learning & Development.
Tom designed and launched the firm’s annual training program which includes and is anchored by Tiger University – three weeks of intensive instruction in Minneapolis occurring every July. Tom and his team implemented the Tiger Rotational Program which increases cooperation and cohesion among offices by sending talented employees to a different office for 3-6 months. In 2018 he helped implement a Performance Shares Award program for the firm’s partners and contracted with a major outside vendor to implement the firm’s first HRIS system, Cornerstone. He also designed and launched an annual Leadership Development Program for high-potential employees. Participants undergo 360 Review Processes, Hogan Personality Assessments, and partner with a Mentor.
Before joining TigerRisk in 2016, Tom was a highly-regarded head hunter in the P&C insurance sector. Previous to that, he was a U.S. diplomat for 12 years. Highlights from his diplomatic career included a role as U.S. Delegate to the U.N. Security Council where, among other accomplishments, he led the planning of a 10,000-person peacekeeping force in Haiti; prior to that Tom was the Policy Director for the Western Hemisphere in the Office of Counterterrorism at the U.S. State Department. He worked closely with the White House counter-terrorism team focused on cyber security and received multiple awards for his service during and after 9/11. From 1998-2000, Tom ran a counter-narcotics program in Nicaragua aimed at stopping trans-shipment of Colombian cocaine to the U.S.
Tom earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University (1988) and a Master’s degree in Administration and Social Policy from Harvard University (1992). He is fluent in Spanish and French and lives in New York with his wife and their seven children. In his spare time, Tom is a yoga practitioner and certified instructor.
Human Capital Director
Kim Michalko joined TigerRisk Partners in October 2013 and is responsible for the implementation of Human Capital strategy, delivering services that enable business success in the areas of talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, training and development, and human capital policies and procedures. Kim worked in various professional human capital positions as a Director, Manager, Senior Generalist and Administrator in a variety of industries, to include Information Technology Consulting, HealthCare, Non-Profit Social Services, Manufacturing, and Financial Services.
Kim holds a Master’s in Labor Relations and Human resources from the Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and French from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater. In addition, she holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources certification.
Laura Knutzen is Assistant General Counsel and Global Head of Contracts at TigerRisk Partners. In this role, she handles corporate legal matters as well as overseeing reinsurance contract wordings, collateralized trust agreements, and all other agreements associated with reinsurance placements.
Prior to joining TigerRisk Partners in 2010, Laura Knutzen was Vice President at Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC (following Guy Carpenter’s acquisition of John B. Collins Associates, Inc. in 2009). She began her reinsurance career at E.W. Blanch Co. (now Aon Benfield) in December of 1995.
Laura attended the University of Minnesota Law School where she received a JD. She holds the CPCU and ARe designations.
Tim Kauffman has more than 23 years of experience working in reinsurance accounting and claims. Tim began his career in reinsurance at E.W. Blanch Co (now Aon Benfield) in 1994. He has worked on both treaty and facultative business handling large and complex accounts for various sized clients. Tim has held various leadership roles throughout his career.
Prior to joining TigerRisk Partners in 2018, Tim was Director of Accounting and Claims with Aon Benfield where he was responsible for overseeing a team that included accounting and claim analysts who handled various lines of business.
Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education from UW LaCrosse. He also completed additional accounting related coursework at Winona State University.
Joan Hedegaard joined TigerRisk Partners in 2010 as the Fiduciary Accounting Supervisor. She is responsible for managing fiduciary accounting, global revenue, and regulatory reporting, along with providing support to the finance team.
Joan began her reinsurance career with E.W. Blanch Co. in 1982 as a member of the finance team. As part of the finance team, Joan was responsible for several financial accounting processes, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and audit support. In 1996 Joan became the controller for E.W. Blanch Co. Upon the merger with Benfield, Joan held the position of Vice President and was responsible for managing the Fiduciary Department. Joan was instrumental in system development in support of customer transaction and settlement and continued in this role with Aon after the merger in 2008.
Joan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Augsburg College.
Rob Benjamin has over 30 years of experience in the practice of corporate law. Rob began his reinsurance industry career in 1981 with E. W. Blanch Co. (now Aon Benfield), ultimately serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel during the company’s successful initial public offering in 1993.
Prior to joining TigerRisk Partners in 2009, Rob was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of John B. Collins Associates, Inc. Rob joined Collins in 2000 as its first general counsel and was a key participant in the successful sale of Collins to Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC in 2009.
Prior to commencing his legal career, Rob spent several years as an auditor and accountant in the retailing, transportation, banking, and government sectors. He has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from St. Cloud State and a juris doctor from William Mitchell College of Law. Rob also holds the CPCU designation.
Larry LaMere joined Rod Fox in June 2000 for the creation of Benfield, LLC and led the formation of its operations and customer technical services. Following the merger with E.W. Blanch Co., he was responsible for all the US operations of Benfield Group. These responsibilities covered all aspects of intermediary operations, including contract writing, fiduciary accounting, customer technical services, and information technology.
Larry has over 30 years of reinsurance industry experience. Prior to joining Benfield, he worked at Aon Re were he was involved with their e-commerce initiatives, operations workflow analysis, and broker technical support. Prior to Aon Re, Larry spent 18 years with E.W. Blanch Co. (including 1 year at Swire Blanch – Europe, Copenhagen). His responsibilities ranged from 8 years as CFO to various operational management functions. He formed one of the industry’s first formalized fiduciary accounting structures for an intermediary.
Larry has an eclectic educational history primarily focused on finance, business administration, and accounting, as well as French, marketing, and statistics at the University of Minnesota.
Larry serves on the Special Education Advisory Committee for the City of Bloomington schools and served as Chairman in 2006–2007.
Rowan McLean joined TigerRisk Partners in 2016, focusing on Florida-specific property treaty business, as well as retrocessional business. He began his career in 2011 as a graduate trainee on the Towers Watson graduate scheme. After a year of rotation through various broking positions in marine, binders, reinsurance, and retro, Rowan joined the North American Property and Casualty Treaty team. After the acquisition of Towers Watson Reinsurance Brokers by JLT Re, he continued to develop in the same role working across U.S. regional and nationwide property accounts as well as on various casualty treaty accounts.
Rowan graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2011 with a degree in Economics.

Martin Bartell has over thirty years of industry experience. Before joining TigerRisk Partners in 2014, Martin held a position with the Aon Benfield Global Re Specialty team where he was responsible for production and placement of non-marine retrocessional business, encompassing per risk and catastrophe business placed with traditional reinsurers and ILS markets.
Prior to Aon Benfield Re Specialty, Martin was a member of a team that joined Arthur J. Gallagher to create Gallagher Re which focused on property retrocession. He originated the idea and co-led the team that saw Gallagher Re in partnership with the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) launch a series of catastrophe derivatives that traded on the NYMEX exchange.
He also worked for the Benfield Group, as well as Alexander Howden where he was a member of the LMX Division’s placing team.

Sophie Francis joined TigerRisk in 2015 as a member of the Bermuda & U.S. Retrocessional Team, supporting analysis, structuring and placement of UNL and parametric transactions in both traditional and ILS markets. Prior to joining TigerRisk, Sophie held senior roles in media and marketing both in Bermuda and Edinburgh, Scotland, providing her with a strong client servicing, strategic planning, and business development background.
Sophie earned her Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) degree in Business Management from Newcastle Business School and a Master’s degree in Publishing from Edinburgh Napier University. She holds the CPCU and ARe designations.
Freddie Mead works for TigerRisk Bermuda focusing on Retro business having transitioned from the London office in 2018. He began his career in 2008 as a graduate trainee working on international accounts where he focused on single territory European accounts. Freddie later transitioned to working on global placements as part of the U.S. team. In addition, he was heavily involved in producing business for ILS and traditional markets.
Prior to joining TigerRisk Partners U.K. in 2014, Freddie spent six years at Willis Re where he was deeply involved in the analysis, structuring, and placement of complex multi-national property programs for retail clients and U.S.-specific wholesale accounts. In this role he was also responsible for placing casualty business for accounts through the London office.
Freddie graduated from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne with a BA (hons) in Modern Languages.
Having joined TigerRisk UK in 2011 to help establish the London office, Alex then moved to Bermuda to launch the firm’s Bermuda operation, where he is responsible for TigerRisk’s retrocessional business.
Prior to joining TigerRisk, Alex began his career at BMS Group where he worked as part of the reinsurance team, broking large nationwide, super-regional, and Florida-specific accounts. He was also involved in London Market reinsurance and helped create their London Market ILW platform.
Alex has a Bachelor of Arts (with honours) degree in Business Economics and holds the ACII designation.
Kyle Dahlstrom began his reinsurance career in June of 2018 as an Associate at TigerRisk Partners. He is a member of the Minneapolis Loss Portfolio Transfer team where he provides clients with assistance in all facets of their legacy transactions, as well as assisting North American brokerage teams in their annual renewal processes. Prior to TigerRisk, Kyle worked as an intern at North Risk Partners where he was a member of the Commercial Lines team.
Kyle graduated from Bethel University with a Business major that included an emphasis in Finance and Data Analytics, as well as a Minor in Mathematics. Before graduating from Bethel, Kyle worked as an intern at TigerRisk for a year.
Grace Seigle joined TigerRisk in 2016 working with casualty and specialty lines of business in London. She currently works with the LPT/ADC Broking Unit which specializes in placing loss portfolio transfers (LPT) and adverse development covers (ADC) on long-tailed liabilities for TigerRisk’s clients.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, a Master’s from Oxford University in Water Science, Policy, and Management, and an ARe designation.

Aaron Hanna joined TigerRisk Partners and began his reinsurance career in 2014. He has been an integral member of TigerRisk’s LPT/ADC Legacy Runoff broking team since inception and is a key resource on large legacy block transactions with a diverse skill set relating to long-tail liability solutions including: claims, coverage, structuring, and capital efficiency. Aaron has also developed and nurtured key relationships with niche legacy run-off capital providers to provide custom tailored solutions for TigerRisk clients.
Aaron is a 2013 graduate of Marquette University’s David Straz School of Business where he received degrees in Finance and Marketing, as well as a minor in Criminology. He currently holds the ARe designation and continues to pursue his CPCU and CLIP certifications.
Anna Dill began her reinsurance career at Benfield (now Aon Benfield) in 2008, where she was a member of the Property Specialty team providing reinsurance pricing guidance for property catastrophe clients. She also assisted in the development of the QuoteMetrics platform, a tool that provides analyses comparing price and modeled exposure. In addition to QuoteMetrics, Anna supported the research and development of the Reinsurance Market Outlook white papers at Aon Benfield.
In November of 2010, Anna joined TigerRisk as a member of the U.S. Property Treaty Broker team where she was responsible for managing and placing the reinsurance programs for various global and regional clients. Her responsibilities included the development of client submissions and marketing materials, pricing/structuring, and brokering syndicated property catastrophe placements.
Beginning in March 2016, Anna joined the LPT/ADC Broking Unit, which specializes in placing loss portfolio transfers (LPT) and adverse development covers (ADC) on long-tailed liabilities for TigerRisk’s clients. She is involved in all facets of the legacy transactions including structuring, claims, coverage, and capital efficiency.
Anna received a BA in International Business and Reconciliation Studies from Bethel University.
Linda Johnson is a recognized reinsurance leader who is dedicated to providing TigerRisk clients with an Amazing Client Experience.
She joined TigerRisk Partners in 2008 after having been worked for E.W. Blanch Co./Benfield Group and its successors for 21 years. Linda was the first female Executive Vice President within Benfield U.S. and the first female member of the Benfield U.S. Executive Committee. Linda executed a range of responsibilities and leadership roles within Benfield Group’s U.S. Reinsurance Platform.
Throughout her reinsurance career, Linda has led several multi-disciplined teams and designed and placed numerous specialty reinsurance solutions for a broad range of customers and product types. Her clients include a well-respected panel of Global National writers and Specialty Carriers.
Linda was recognized as one of Business Insurance “Women to Watch” in 2006.
She has an MBA from the University of Minnesota and holds the CPCU and ARe designations.
Catherine Mello is an Associate at TigerRisk in Bermuda. Her role is to provide actuarial and catastrophe modeling support to the Retro team.
Prior to joining TigerRisk, Catherine started her career in reinsurance as an Underwriting Analyst at Chubb Tempest Re. Her time at Chubb was spent running catastrophe models from RMS and AIR for US and International accounts. This involved analyzing data, reviewing models, making upgrades and assessing model output. Following her time at Chubb, Catherine moved Platinum Re to work as a reinsurance pricing analyst. After this she moved to Capsicum Re as a Senior Actuarial Analyst. She was responsible for pricing the marine and energy reinsurance accounts and updating models.
Catherine earned her Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Studies and Environmental Engineering Technology Diploma from Cape Breton University. She also earned her Bachelor of Education from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Catherine currently holds the CPCU, ARe, ARM, ARM-E, AU and the AU-M professional designations. Catherine is also a Certified Catastrophe Modeler (CCM) from AIR Worldwide and is currently pursuing a goal of becoming a qualified actuary with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the United Kingdom. She is in her final year of obtaining her Master of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Leicester with the anticipation of graduation in July 2017.

Rebecca Wyatt joined TigerRisk UK in 2017 as a member of the Analytics team. She previously worked in Catastrophe Modeling and Exposure Management teams on both direct and reinsurance, most recently at the China Re syndicate.
Rebecca graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BSc in Mathematics. She also holds the CCRA, CEEM and ACII professional designations.

Sameer Bhatarah joined TigerRisk Partners (UK) as an Actuarial Associate in 2017 as part of the analytics team in London and works predominantly on EMEA business.
Sameer began his career in the Lloyd’s of London graduate trainee program which involved a series of six-month secondments at various companies within the Lloyd’s market. This included working at Hiscox in their London Market actuarial pricing department, the reinsurance claims team at Tokio Marine Kiln, and returning to the Corporation of Lloyd’s to work in the market reserving and capital department. While in the Lloyd’s of London graduate program, Sameer completed his exams with The Chartered Insurance Institute and attained the ACII designation.
Sameer graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree (with honours) in Actuarial Science and is currently a member of The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA).

Vlad Kostadinov joined TigerRisk UK in October 2014 and is responsible for TigerEye and the broader suite of TigerRisk analytics from a client development and support perspective. Prior to joining TigerRisk, Vlad held multiple positions culminating as an Account Manager at catastrophe modeling vendor Risk Management Solutions. During his tenure at RMS, he worked to support many Lloyd’s Syndicates, London Market Insurers, and International Reinsurers with their use and adoption of RMS’ suite of software, as well as being a key contributor to the internal Risk Analyst Training Scheme.
Vlad graduated from Imperial College London in 2011 with a MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, holding the Cert CII designation, as well as holding the CCRA (Certified Catastrophe Risk Analyst) designation from RMS.

Anna Neely joined TigerRisk Partners’ Analytics team in 2017 as Research and Development Risk Analyst based in the Raleigh office. She is leading Tiger’s initiative on developing enhanced real-time catastrophe event responses to keep clients ahead of the storm when it matters. In addition to real-time event response, she leverages her background in fire modeling to support clients in managing wildfire and fire following earthquake risk. Prior to TigerRisk, she spent two years working with ZS Associates in Boston, a consulting firm focused in sales and marketing analytics in the voluntary insurance market. Before consulting, Anna spent three years as a senior scientist in the research department at AIR worldwide.
While working toward her M.S. degree is in Environmental Systems – Math Modeling at Humboldt State University, Anna was a Lab Technician/Research Associate for the Wildland Fire Lab. She earned a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Chemistry, with a minor in Biology, from Meredith College, in Raleigh.
Ben Hubbard joined TigerRisk Partners in 2010 as a Catastrophe Modeler with the Analytics Team. During his tenure at TigerRisk, Ben has worked on numerous projects, including exposure management and data quality initiatives, portfolio optimization through various internal applications, growth scenarios through CPIC depopulations, and reinsurance renewals. Using his extensive knowledge in catastrophe models, his focus is to provide a high level of support to his various clients, ranging from regional insurance carriers to complex commercial companies.
Ben received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering with honors from Bucknell University.
Tom Daly joined TigerRisk Partners in 2009 and has played a key role in the development of technology solutions for the insurance and reinsurance industry. He provides leadership to the technology team behind TigerEye, which is the industry-leading reinsurance pricing and portfolio analysis platform.
Tom began his career in reinsurance in 2007 as a financial systems analyst at Renaissance Reinsurance and focused on several key projects which involved system integrations and consolidated reporting across business units and applications.
Tom holds a BA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Sarah Stanard joined TigerRisk in 2015 as a member of the Catastrophe Modeling Team and supports current clients in portfolio analysis and assists in new opportunities. She began her career at Arch Reinsurance Co in NJ as an Actuarial intern in 2004 and later joined as an Actuarial Analyst. Her role included modeling client submissions through RMS and CATRADER, preparing for company-wide quarter-end reserve meetings, and assisting with SOX compliance for the Actuarial and Claims departments.
Sarah received a Bachelor’s Mathematics-Economics dual degree from Furman University in SC and has completed four casualty actuarial exams.
Jessica Senou joined TigerRisk Partners in 2017 as a member of the Catastrophe Modeling Team and supports current clients in exposure analysis, modeling, and pro forma development. She also assists with R&D projects.
Jessica received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from North Dakota State University. In 2016 she completed her doctorate on the subject of Weighted Differential Invariant Signatures from the University of Minnesota.
Dylan Patel joined TigerRisk in 2018 immediately following his graduation as a Catastrophe Risk Analyst. He was introduced to the reinsurance world at Munich Re as a Summer Leadership Development Intern working on the regional property reinsurance team. Prior to Munich Re Dylan worked at The Coca-Cola Company participating in a Privacy & Cybersecurity Co-op. He also worked as a Junior Implementation Consultant at Riskonnect Inc, developing risk management information systems atop the Salesforce platform.
Dylan graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management & Insurance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems, with an emphasis in Analytics. He also has a Certificate of Legal Studies.
Josephine Li joined TigerRisk as an Associate Actuary in May 2017 and bought over expertise ranging from risk modeling and reinsurance optimization, capital allocation, as well as research and development. She began her career at Guy Carpenter and later joined Willis Re where she was deeply involved in structuring and pricing programs on various lines of business, including property, medical malpractice, accident and health, as well as other multi-line treaties.
Josephine is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and received an undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science from the University of St. Thomas.
Aaron Josephson began his reinsurance career with TigerRisk Partners in 2014, as a catastrophic risk analyst. He has focused on a variety of clients, from regional insurance companies, to large national providers, to complex commercial portfolios. In addition to helping clients quantify and understand their catastrophic risks, Aaron is also responsible for providing internal and external technical solutions. From workflow enhancements to training on and incorporating TigerRisk’s suite of analytical tools, he focuses on increasing productivity and efficiency for clients and team members alike.
Aaron received a BS degree in Mathematics and Statistics from North Dakota State University and a Master’s of Accountancy from North Dakota State University.
Matthew Bernstein began his reinsurance career at TigerRisk in 2017 as a Catastrophe Risk Analyst. Prior to TigerRisk, Matthew was a Financial Analyst Intern at the Minnesota Hospital Association.
Matthew studied mathematics with a focus in actuarial science at the University of Minnesota and held positions as an undergraduate tutor, teaching assistant, and treasurer of the University’s Men’s Rugby Club.
Matthew received his Bachelor’s in Mathematics with a minor in Management and Insurance from the University of Minnesota in 2017.
Eric Hennen has been a member of the catastrophe modeling team at TigerRisk Partners since 2011 and in the insurance industry since 2004. His expertise is focused on the advanced usage of catastrophe models in support of exposure risk management and product development. Eric has helped many of the insurance industry’s largest companies manage catastrophe risk through reinsurance structuring and exposure growth tools. Eric provides support for the development and distribution of internal and external tools and technologies allowing increased efficiencies in the review of catastrophe exposures.
Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from St. John’s University (Collegeville, MN).
Jason Cook is an actuary in our analytics group and has been in the insurance industry for the last 20 years. He joined TigerRisk Partners in August of 2014.
Most recently he was Chief Actuary for Texas Medical Liability Trust where he managed both the Actuarial and Risk Management functions. Prior to joining TMLT, Jason was a Managing Director at Aon Benfield and led the actuarial and financial modeling department in the Minneapolis office. He and his group performed the full suite of actuarial work in support of reinsurance placements and special projects. Jason has also held positions as a consulting actuary for Milliman USA and as an actuarial analyst at Manitoba Public Insurance.
In these roles he evaluated, structured, and priced traditional and non-traditional reinsurance structures; established rate and profitability strategies, as well as surplus targets; developed and built underwriting, pro forma accounting, and economic capital models; developed rates for the FHCF; and provided analytics for both mergers and acquisitions and the creation of sidecar facilities.
Jason is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, and is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He received a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Manitoba in Canada.
Bhaskar Chattaraj joined TigerRisk in 2009 and leads the Modeling and R&D team. He began his career in the insurance industry in 1998 at AIR Worldwide Corporation where he was the manager of the Core Products Quality Group. In that position he was responsible for statistical analysis and testing of all catastrophe models and underlying industry exposures. Additionally, Bhaskar played an integral role in the development of a proprietary catastrophe software engine and was involved in special client risk management projects, such as providing analytical expertise in the design of catastrophe bonds.
Prior to joining TigerRisk, Bhaskar was the Assistant Vice President in the Analytics department at John B. Collins Associates, Inc. In that capacity he was responsible for building analytical tools for catastrophe risk analysis, creating tools and processes for optimizing portfolios of catastrophe-prone exposures including depopulations from Citizens Property Insurance Corporation in Florida, reinsurance and ILW pricing, and creating growth and start-up scenarios for several companies.
Bhaskar earned both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in statistics from Indian Statistical Institute and a master’s degree in economics from Boston University. He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Data Mining and Applications from Stanford University.
Nathan Schwartz has been a partner at TigerRisk Partners since 2009 as a member of the analytical team. His expertise touches on the areas of economic capital modeling, reinsurance structure analysis, risk modeling and measurement, risk and capital allocation, and structuring and pricing reinsurance products, including securitized reinsurance. Over the last fifteen years Nathan helped design, analyze, and optimize reinsurance structures for many of the insurance industry’s largest companies.
Nathan began his actuarial career in 1995 at the St. Paul Companies (now Travelers), pricing Medical Malpractice and reserving Specialty Lines. In 1999 Nathan entered reinsurance at E.W. Blanch Co. (now Aon Benfield) where he became the head of the financial modeling department. He has been involved in the development and creation of many risk modeling, risk measurement, and reinsurance optimization tools and techniques with a special focus in catastrophe risk management and optimization. Nathan has performed the financial and risk modeling in support of the raising of nearly $1B of capital for reinsurance “sidecars” and has designed economic capital policies and procedures, built economic capital models for clients, and helped clients allocate capital to risk groups and measure return on capital.
Nathan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and computer science from Carleton College and a Master of Science degree in mathematics from Northwestern University. Nathan is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Nathan has published and presented before the Casualty Actuarial Society and at other conferences on reinsurance, reinsurance securitization, risk modeling, and risk management topics.
Camdiss Huang joined TigerRisk China in 2017 as a Senior Vice President. She works with the broking team in Hong Kong to manage current and prospective client relationships and identify innovative solutions to meet client needs.
Prior to joining TigerRisk, Camdiss was the Director at Aon Benfield Hong Kong. She led a team of client managers in building strong client relationships in the Shenzhen and Hong Kong markets by delivering holistic services. Camdiss also worked as a broker at Houlder Insurance Brokers Ltd. placing treaty and facultative business.
She started her (re)insurance career at Guy Carpenter as an Account Executive providing broking support services to clients in Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong.
Camdiss has a Bachelor of Arts (Honour) degree in Financial Services in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Post-graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting in The City University of Hong Kong. She also holds the ANZIIF Senior Associate designation.
Michael Fung joined TigerRisk in 2015 as the head of the analytics in Asia. His expertise includes economic capital modeling and assessment (including risk-based capital solvency regimes), commercial and treaty pricing, reinsurance structuring, reinsurance modeling, reserve valuation, and appraisal valuation for insurance mergers & acquisitions.
Prior to joining TigerRisk, Michael worked at a large Lloyd’s syndicate in London as a capital modeling actuary where he was involving in their Solvency II capital assessment. Michael also worked as a consulting actuary at Towers Watson where he provided leadership on consulting projects and developed services in the areas of capital modeling and enterprise risk management for P&C companies across Asia. His clients included government organizations and private sector re/insurers.
Before joining Towers Watson, Michael was the head of analytics at Willis Re in Hong Kong, where he led a team of actuaries to provide reinsurance advice to clients in China and Hong Kong. He was also a managing director at Ultimate Risk Solutions in Asia Pacific where he was responsible for technical sales and support to clients. He started his insurance career at Tillinghast-Towers Perrin, which is now part of Willis Towers Watson.
Michael holds a Master of Engineering (Honour) degree from Christ Church, University of Oxford in England. He is a Fellow of the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries in the United Kingdom, Fellow of the Singapore Actuarial Society, Fellow of the Malaysian Actuarial Society, and Fellow of the Hong Kong Actuarial Society. Xuejun Wang joined TigerRisk Partner (China) in 2016 as Chief Executive Officer and has 25 years of experience in the reinsurance business.
Mr. Wang started his career in the reinsurance industry at People’s Insurance Company of China (PICC) in 1992. After working as a reinsurance underwriter in PICC Hebei Branch for over 19 years, Mr. Wang joined Willis Re in 2010 as the Executive Director of Willis Re’s Greater China Beijing office. Under his leadership, the Willis Re Beijing team served Chinese Property and Casualty insurance clients in Northern China, with treaties from both marine and non-marine businesses.
Mr. Wang graduated from Dongbei University of Finance and Economy.
Prior to joining TigerRisk UK in early 2013, Jessica Tarrant worked in the Claims Department for Bell & Clements Ltd as a Technician and Broker handling Homeowners and Commercial Property claims. Jessica joined TigerRisk UK as a Technician and then transitioned to the London Broking Team in 2014 where she specializes in US Property Treaty and Binding Authorities.

Chairman – International
Jim Dowd brings 42 years of experience in insurance and reinsurance at the enterprise level to TigerRisk Partners. His career in the industry began as General Counsel of Skandia America Re in 1972 where he ultimately was selected as Chairman and CEO in 1984. He continued in that position until 1992 when he moved to Willis Re where he headed its North American reinsurance practice. He returned to Skandia as CEO in 1995 tasked to sell the company which he did successfully in early 1996. The buyer, Fairfax Financial Holdings of Toronto, Canada, used the Skandia acquisition as a base to found what is today Odyssey Re, a global reinsurer. Jim was a founder of that company.
In 2002 Jim was named Chairman and CEO of Fairfax Asia and led a team to extend Fairfax non-life operations to the Asia region. For the next decade he led the team which acquired or initiated non-life insurance operations in India, China (including Hong Kong), Singapore, and Thailand. During this period, he served on the board of directors of all Asian affiliates and continued to serve as Vice Chairman of Odyssey Re.
Jim is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, St. John’s University School of Law, and C.W. Post College. He is also a long-time member of the board of overseers of St. John’s University School of Insurance, Risk Management and Actuarial Science. Jim is a veteran of service in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Heather Roscoe joined TigerRisk (UK) in 2015 as a member of the analytics team supporting U.S. and European clients and performing analytics for prospective clients globally.
She began her career in 2009 at Liberty Mutual Insurance in Liberty’s Corporate Catastrophe Modeling department. Heather’s responsibilities included modeling several lines of business within the vendor models, assisting in the corporate portfolio roll-up, preparing data for reinsurance placements, tracking selected corporate metrics, and analyzing treaty effectiveness.
Heather graduated cum laude from Boston University in 2009 with a major in Mathematics and a Specialization in Statistics. She currently holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Associate in Reinsurance, and Associate in Risk Management professional designations.

Prior to joining TigerRisk in 2016, Fiona Maynard started her career in 2010 at Jardine Lloyd Thompson Pty Ltd Australia (JLT Australia) in the role of Broker Assistant. She moved to BMS as a Specialty Casualty Broker focusing on professional liability classes, including Medical Malpractice, General Liability business and Workers Compensation Treaty Reinsurance. She then transitioned into the BMS Property and Casualty Treaty Team, focusing on several larger North American Property Catastrophe Treaty accounts. After 3 years with BMS, Fiona joined Alwen Hough Johnson Limited (AHJ) in 2013 as a Broker on their Property & Casualty North American Reinsurance Team with a focus on Casualty Treaty business.

Louise Gladding joined TigerRisk Partners (UK) in December 2016 from Croton Stokes Wilson Holden Limited, which was recently acquired by Integro. She specializes in broking and producing North American Binding Authorities and Facilities in various lines of business, having many strong connections in the Lloyd’s and London market.

Chris Jenkins has specialized in North American P&C reinsurance for more than a decade. Chris commenced his business career at Coopers & Lybrand (PWC) and then moved to reinsurance broker RK Carvill where he focused on program business. Prior to joining Tiger Risk in 2013, Chris was a Divisional Director at BMS Intermediaries for ten years with account responsibility and direction for significant nationwide and super regional property catastrophe risk, workers’ compensation, and program business placements. Chris was also involved with capital raising and formation of several insurance vehicles. Chris currently serves on the board of a Florida insurance company.

Nick Anning joined TigerRisk (UK) in 2012 as a Director and leads the London Broking team. Nick began his career at Chandler Hargreaves and Whittall in 1978. He joined the bespoke Reinsurance Brokers Ellinger Heath Western in 1980 and became an Associate Partner in 1993. Nick remained with the Company as it metamorphosed through various iterations including Benfield Ellinger, Benfield Greig, Benfield Blanch, Benfield, and finally Aon Benfield in 2008.
Nick’s role at Benfield was head of North American Property Treaty in the London office and he continued that role within Aon Benfield. As well as his management duties, Nick was the London Account Executive for several large and medium sized U.S. accounts, as well as being responsible for several non-aligned U.S. property and casualty accounts.

Prior to joining TigerRisk in 2013, Hugo Crawley has spent over 30 years in the insurance and reinsurance business, starting his career at a Lloyds Syndicate in 1980 and then joining BMS in 1982, a specialist wholesale North American treaty reinsurance broker.
Hugo held various positions at BMS becoming Chairman of the North American reinsurance broker in 1999 and Group Chairman in 2008. He helped build BMS’ North American platform and was responsible for winning significant clients across the U.S. He helped establish one of the premier Florida depopulation carriers in 1999 and helped create several other respected P&C specialist insurers. Hugo was also instrumental in expanding BMS’ operations and building out their U.S. offices.

Marc Lauricella joined TigerRisk Partners in 2008 as one of the founding TigerRisk members and currently serves as a Senior Executive and Partner. In addition to Marc’s management of several large Property catastrophe clients, Marc leads TigerRisk’s Capital Group which develops large strategic relationships between TigerRisk clients and reinsurance capital providers. Marc has extensive experience in risk management solutions and reinsurance/capital placements, working as an insurance business development executive and senior reinsurance advisor/broker for over 25 years.
Prior to joining TigerRisk in 2008, Marc was the Chief Marketing Officer of Praetorian Financial Group, a specialty insurance company, where he was instrumental in originating and growing MGA and Wholesaler production relationships; coordinating/placing corporate reinsurance programs; and re-branding the Company. The sale of the $2B insurance premium company to QBE the Americas was completed in June of 2007.
Before Praetorian, Marc served as an Executive and Branch Manager for both E. W. Blanch Co. and then Benfield, where he was a U.S. Team Leader working with large regional and nationwide insurance companies to grow their portfolios and effectively manage their insurance risk through designing/executing large Property Catastrophe/Quota Share Reinsurance Programs and Corporate Whole Account Reinsurance transactions. Marc also supported the growth of several Insurance Carriers by originating new large MGA relationships and creating risk management solutions for these MGA portfolios.

Chris Wojciechowski joined TigerRisk in 2018 and is based in the New York City office. As a member of the Casualty Specialty team, Chris is responsible for new business development along with the advisory and servicing of TigerRisk’s current Casualty reinsurance clients.
Prior to joining TigerRisk, Chris was Associate Director-Treaty Reinsurance at Aon Benfield in Chicago, where he was responsible for a broad portfolio of global, national, and regional Casualty (focusing on Professional Lines) and Mortgage clients. Prior to Aon Benfield, Chris was Director of Business Development for MagMutual Group, a super-regional Medical Professional Liability carrier based in Atlanta. He started his (re)insurance career as a Treaty Analyst at Willis Re in Chicago where he ultimately co-led the Analytics and Insights function of the Healthcare Practice Group.
Chris earned his BA in Economics, with a Minor in Mathematics, from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, where he was an Eli Lilly Fellow.
Daniel Wilson joined TigerRisk in 2017 as a member of the New York team. His responsibilities include supporting and placing personal property and commercial auto reinsurance programs for regional and national carriers.
Prior to TigerRisk, Dan was a Senior Insurance and Retrocession Analyst at Munich Re America. His previous positions include Ceded Reinsurance Analyst for LIG Insurance Company and Analyst for RCA Insurance Group.
Dan earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance at the College of New Jersey and holds both the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Reinsurance professional designations.
Steven Russo joined TigerRisk in March 2018 as a broker based out of the New York office.
Prior to joining TigerRisk, Steven was a Reinsurance Analyst at Markel Corporation. He worked on the analysis, structuring, placement, and set up of all treaties and as the point of contact for placements, coordinating both internally and externally between departments to streamline communication.
Steven received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from the University of Virginia and his MBA with certificates in Business Analytics and Project Management from George Washington University.
Kyle Menendez joined TigerRisk in 2017 on the current client team. He began his career in a market strategy and product development role at Chesapeake Employers’ Insurance Company, a regional casualty insurance carrier located in Maryland, in 2011. At Chesapeake Employers, Kyle led a team that was focused on increasing market share by releasing new products and pricing models and strengthening ties with a community of independent insurance agents.
Kyle received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stevenson University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. He also is a licensed Property & Casualty insurance producer and holds the CPCU, ARe, and AAI designations.
Garrett Grover began his reinsurance career at TigerRisk Partners in 2016 upon his graduation from the University of Virginia. Based in the New York City office, Garrett works on analytics, marketing, placing, and servicing of property and casualty treaty business.

Jessica Groenewegen joined TigerRisk Partners in 2017 as a member of the New York broking team, focusing on casualty accounts. She began her career in (re)insurance through an array of internships, including: Marsh and McLennan Agency, The Niles Agency, Endurance, and Swett & Crawford, while studying at St. John’s University. Through these internships, Jessica broadened her knowledge in several product lines, ranging from Excess and Surplus Lines to VIP Personal Insurance.

Craig Carmilani joined TigerRisk in June 2018 as an associate in the New York office. Prior to joining TigerRisk, Craig began his (re)insurance career in 2016 as an intern at Marsh on the FINPRO Financial Institutions team. He then worked for Chubb as an underwriting intern on the financial institutions team before joining TigerRisk full time after graduation.
Craig earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Amherst College where he was a member of the two-time NESCAC Championship football team.
Ken Kim joined TigerRisk in 2015 and is based in their New York office. He works closely with clients as an account executive and broker team leader in both property and casualty treaty business. He also works with both new and prospective clients on product development and is a member of TigerRisk’s Casualty Specialty team.
Prior to TigerRisk, Ken worked at Guy Carpenter as a treaty broker for 13 years. While at Guy Carpenter, he worked with a diverse group of clients and prospects to help them grow in new products, as well as acting as an account executive and lead placing broker on various reinsurance treaties. Ken has expertise in a wide range of products including property, standard casualty lines, specialty casualty, workers compensation, professional liability, and other specialty lines.
Prior to Guy Carpenter, Ken worked at Aon Re for 3 years. While at Aon Re, he worked closely with the actuarial and catastrophe modeling team until mid-2000 when he transitioned to work on treaty reinsurance placements.
Ken graduated from the University of Chicago in 1999 while double majoring in Chemistry and Economics. He holds professional designations of RPLU, CPCU and ARe.
Kevin Abramson, Casualty Specialty Group Leader, is based out of Philadelphia and is focused on new business development along with bringing innovative, cutting-edge casualty products to TigerRisk’s clients.
Prior to joining TigerRisk, Kevin spent the last 9 years at Willis Re where he most recently served as Executive Vice President responsible for managing and producing some of their largest Casualty clients. Kevin was a member of the Casualty Segment leadership team and was most recently in charge of their Bermuda Excess Casualty sub-segment. Throughout his tenure he also played an integral part in Willis Re’s Healthcare and Professional Lines Segments as some of his larger client relationships were focused in these areas.
Prior to joining Willis Re, Kevin worked for Swiss Re where he focused his attention on Casualty Facultative underwriting and production for a portfolio of global and national clients. He started his career in the reinsurance industry with General Re in 2001 going through their Jump School program and serving as a Casualty Facultative underwriter concentrating on a regional/middle market client base.
Kevin earned his B.S. degree, with a major in Finance and a minor in Accounting from Villanova University in Pennsylvania and currently holds both the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Reinsurance professional designations. He also earned his M.B.A., with a dual major in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Seth Ruff joined TigerRisk in October 2017 as Partner and Head of Reinsurance Solutions, charged with amplifying the firm’s creative energy and impact. Seth collaborates with Tiger’s account teams, clients, and reinsurers to develop innovative and individualized reinsurance solutions, whether to facilitate growth, boost efficiency, reduce volatility, or enhance capital flexibility.
Seth joined from Swiss Re, where he spent 16 years, most recently as Managing Director, President of US P&C Core Partners Group and President of Swiss Re Underwriters Agency, Inc. In this role, Seth led a team of client managers and underwriters with responsibility for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of P&C treaty reinsurance. Previously, Seth held various posts within Swiss Re including ten years in Structured Reinsurance Solutions, where he led the development and delivery of customized reinsurance solutions in the US Broker market, Latin America, and Canada. He also spent six years in casualty underwriting, including one year in Hong Kong. Seth began his insurance industry career as an actuarial consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco and London.
Seth is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics from California State University.
Prior to joining TigerRisk Partners in January 2018, Jeremiah Pawlowicz was the Director of Enterprise Risk Management: Capital Modeling at CNA. Jeremiah began his reinsurance career in 2008 with Aon Re (now Aon Benfield) and from 2008 to 2014, he held various analytics and investment banking positions at Aon Benfield. From 2014 to 2018, Jeremiah worked for CNA Financial Corporation in Cat/Capital Modeling, Predictive Analytics and Enterprise Risk Management.
Jeremiah earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and his master’s degree in business administration from University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also holds the ARe designation.
Steve Pfeiffer is a Partner in TigerRisk’s Chicago office where he serves as account executive for several of the firm’s core property, specialty casualty, and retro clients. In that role, he leads cross-functional teams focused on providing strategic advice and crafting innovative solutions to clients’ unique risk and capital management needs. Steve is also engaged in the firm’s business development efforts, cultivating future client partnerships and creating new opportunities to leverage external capacity to decrease (re)insurers’ cost of capital and reduce volatility of earnings.
Steve earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Notre Dame and a Master’s in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Prior to joining TigerRisk, Steve worked as a treaty reinsurance broker with Guy Carpenter and held (re)insurance underwriting positions with subsidiaries of General Reinsurance Corporation.
Megan Hodge is a partner and the Head of Client Strategy at TigerRisk Partners. Before joining TigerRisk, she was the Global Head of Business Development at Metabiota, an epidemiological risk analytics InsurTech firm. Prior to that, she was most recently a Managing Director and the Branch Manager of Guy Carpenter’s Chicago office. She began her career in Arthur Andersen’s financial consulting practice working in complex claims recoveries before pivoting into the role of a reinsurance broker at Aon Benfield in 2002.
Additionally, Megan is actively involved with the Midwest Division – Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF), the Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society, and a member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Chicago-based “Just Cure It” team.
Megan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in French from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Mike Schnur is a senior reinsurance leader of the firm with over 40 years in the industry and has both client and future client account responsibilities. Before joining TigerRisk Partners in 2009, Mike was an Executive Vice President with Benfield. He was co-leader of their Client Development practice and a member of their U.S. Executive Committee.
Prior to Benfield, Mike spent 11 years with Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC as an Executive Vice President with various responsibilities. He opened and ran their Chicago office, was head of their Mid-America Region, as well as becoming Global Head of their Business Development efforts. Mike was a member of Guy Carpenter’s Executive Committee. Mike spent 10 years with Aon Re and was a member of their Executive Committee. He began his career as a reinsurance underwriter, first with General Re, and then with F&G Re.
Mike is a graduate of Drake University, with a BSBA in Accounting, and is a CPA.
Jacki Wagner began her reinsurance career at Benfield (now Aon Benfield) in 2003 in the contract writing department and transitioned to broking upon joining TigerRisk in 2012. As a member of the current client team, Jacki focuses primarily on Property business and is responsible for designing and implementing innovative reinsurance solutions and servicing a number of regional accounts. Jacki also leads the placement of property facultative business for several regional clients.
Jacki holds a B.S. in Business Management, an MBA, and an M.A. in Strategic Leadership from Bethel University.
Mitchell Sullivan began his career in reinsurance as an intern for TigerRisk Partners in the summer of 2016. He joined TigerRisk as an Associate in June 2017 as a member of the broking team, providing analytical support on multiple property accounts.

Jacob Sexton joined TigerRisk Partners in 2017 as a member of the reinsurance brokerage team. He works with both current and prospective clients on product development and ancillary strategic initiatives. He is responsible for the execution of client renewals and the building of efficient catastrophe reinsurance structures with unique capital to risk solutions for TigerRisk clients. Jacob supports a variety of property and casualty regional, super-regional, and global insurance companies.

John Kenney joined TigerRisk in 2014 as a lead broker responsible for placing reinsurance for property and casualty clients. He began his career in reinsurance in 1994 at E.W. Blanch Co. (now Aon Benfield) as a broker for clients ranging from specialty companies to regional, super-regional, and national carriers. Prior to joining TigerRisk, John was a Managing Director with Aon Benfield where he was responsible for the design, placement, and management of various forms of reinsurance coverage for U.S. property and casualty insurers.
John earned a BS in Business Administration with a major in accounting from Creighton University and is also a graduate of the Creighton University School of Law. He is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association and holds a CPA certificate and the ARe designation.
Pao Her joined TigerRisk Partners in 2018 and is based in the Minneapolis office. Prior to joining TigerRisk Partners, Pao began his reinsurance career in 2013 with Aon Inpoint. He served as a Senior Analyst at Aon Inpoint and held various reinsurance responsibilities such as performing treasury functions, handling reinsurance accounting, and training new hires. In 2016, Pao transitioned from Aon Inpoint to Trean Corporation to take on a broker role. At Trean Corporation, Pao worked closely with clients as an Account Executive, securing reinsurance for property and casualty treaty business. He also worked closely with MGA/GA businesses and clients who needed A.M. Best “A” rated paper.
Pao earned his Bachelor of Science in General Business from University of Northwestern, St. Paul in 2012 and his Master of Business Administration at Bethel University in 2016.
Scott Geach joined TigerRisk in 2017 as a member of the Current Client Team where he is responsible for supporting the placement of large reinsurance programs. He is also leading TigerRisk’s Business Intelligence group, as well as contributing to other important initiatives within the company.
Scott began his reinsurance career in 2001 at Benfield Blanch (now Aon – Reinsurance Solutions) in the Accounting and Claims department. After 4 years in Accounting and Claims, he transitioned to a role in Corporate Finance where he was responsible for revenue budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, as well as ad hoc management reporting and system improvements. In 2014, Scott moved to Aon – Reinsurance Solutions IT where he led many high-profile projects including the implementation of IFRS 15/ASC 606 revenue recognition changes and development of new Business Intelligence functionality.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and holds the ARe and CSM designations.
James Stanard was founder, Chairman and CEO of RenaissanceRe, growing its market value from $141M in 1993 to over $3B when he left in 2005. As a worldwide leader in property catastrophe reinsurance, RenaissanceRe achieved the highest ROE in the insurance industry each of ten consecutive years. From 1990 to 1993 Jim was Executive Vice President of USF&G. As a member of a successful turn-around team, he was responsible for underwriting and claims. From 1983 to 1990 he was co-founder and Executive Vice President of F&G Re, one of the most successful reinsurers in the world during that period. During his 35 years in the insurance industry he has also held underwriting and actuarial positions at Prudential, Chubb, and INA.
Jim is currently Chairman and/or director of several privately held companies, including F&S Ventures LLC.
Jim has a BA in Mathematics from Lehigh University, a PhD in Finance from New York University, is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, and has authored award-winning actuarial papers.
Jim is a trustee of the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences and a director of Habitat for Humanity International.
Managing Partner & CEO
Rod Fox is the Managing Partner and CEO of TigerRisk Partners. TigerRisk is a global reinsurance and capital advisory firm, working with a high-end group of insurers.
Prior to founding TigerRisk, Rod served as the Chief Executive Officer of Praetorian Financial Group where he led the re-structuring, re-branding, and successful sale of the $2B specialty property and casualty insurer to QBE the Americas.
Prior to PFG, Rod was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Benfield Group’s US reinsurance platform where he oversaw the profitable growth of the business while delivering industry leading trading margins. He was a member of the Board of Benfield and was instrumental in their initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange. He was also involved in numerous industry transactions, including the growth of Benfield’s capital markets advisory business, the first Florida JUA depopulation, a restructuring of Allstate Group’s catastrophe exposure, and the formation of Montpelier Re.
Rod started his career at E.W. Blanch Co., a privately held reinsurance intermediary. He was involved in EWB’s initial public offering and enjoyed various positions within EWB; ultimately becoming President and Chief Operating Officer.
In conjunction with Jim Stanard, the former CEO of RenaissanceRe, Rod formed F&S Ventures in 2008, a privately-held insurance investment firm.
Rod holds the CPCU designation and is a graduate of Middlebury College and the Executive Risk Management Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He serves on numerous industry boards and is active with the Navy SEAL Foundation. He has also completed the half and full IRONMAN endurance races.
Paul began his reinsurance career in 1985 with E.W. Blanch, where he became an industry leader and innovator in the property catastrophe market. Together with Rod Fox, he co-founded Benfield Inc. in 2000 and served as President/COO. He ultimately held the positions of CEO and Chairman and also served on the board of Benfield PLC, the parent company, which traded on the London exchange.
After Benfield was purchased by Aon in 2008, Paul served as Chairman Americas of Aon Benfield and was a member of the global executive committee. He joined AQR Re, a Bermuda-based reinsurance company, in 2012 as Vice Chairman and served on its board of directors. Paul joined TigerRisk Partners as Vice Chairman in 2015.
Paul holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas and is a graduate of the Executive Risk Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and serves on the St. Thomas Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors at the Opus School of Business at the University of St. Thomas.
Jason Wong joined TigerRisk Partners in 2015 as a member of the analytics team focusing on catastrophe and reinsurance modeling in the Hong Kong office. In 2019, Jason transferred to the actuarial group in the Minneapolis office to support LPT and casualty clients.
Prior to this position, Jason began his reinsurance career in 2014 as an underwriting intern at Asia Capital Reinsurance.
Jason earned a Master’s of Science in Finance from the Imperial College of London and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics and Statistics from the University of California–Berkeley. He currently holds CEEM designation and is actively taking the CAS actuarial exam.
Kevin Feldman joined TigerRisk in 2019 to lead the formation of TigerRisk’s West Coast platform. Kevin has over 16 years of reinsurance broking experience with a focus on the Property Catastrophe segment. He has become an expert in the earthquake sector, establishing himself as an industry leader in both residential and commercial programs and has a robust background in the programs space, helping Managing General Agents and carriers build profitable partnerships.
Kevin began his career in London at Dennis M. Clayton before joining John B. Collins in San Francisco. In 2006, Kevin helped established the Orange County, CA office for John B. Collins. The company was subsequently absorbed by Guy Carpenter, and he spent the next ten years at the organization, most recently with the title of Managing Director.
Kevin is a graduate of California State University San Marcos with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Bing Lin joined TigerRisk China in 2018 as an Associate with a dual role of analyst and broker. Bing applies his expertise and experience in the areas of actuarial science, catastrophe modeling, reinsurance structuring and pricing, and management of client relationships.
Prior to joining TigerRisk, Bing worked for Ernst & Young as a Senior Actuarial Consultant. He participated in reserve auditing for several of the largest Chinese P&C insurance companies, as well as actuarial and risk management consulting programs in the Chinese insurance market. Before joining Ernst & Young, he worked for Willis Re for more than 3 years as an actuarial analyst.
Bing holds a Master of Economics degree in Actuarial Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics, both from Nankai University.
Bryan Ullsperger joined TigerRisk Partners in 2014 as a member of the Broking team, working on some of Tiger’s largest Property & Casualty accounts. In 2016, Bryan completed a rotation in Tiger’s London office to build on his knowledge of reinsurance while being able to experience the London market firsthand. In late 2016, he joined the modeling team in pursuit of a broad understanding of the various perspectives within the industry.
Prior to joining TigerRisk, Bryan interned at AccuWeather Enterprise Solutions, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and WKOW27 – a local Madison news station.
Bryan received a BS in Economics, as well as Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He currently holds the ARe and CEEM designations.
